Hi, I’m Kami.

I’m a nurse, board-certified nurse coach, menopause coaching specialist — and a woman in her 50s who knows firsthand how disorienting it can be when the body you’ve lived in for decades suddenly stops feeling like yours.

I help women in perimenopause and menopause understand what’s happening in their bodies, lose weight, have more energy, so they can look and feel like themselves again — without restrictive diets, punishing workouts, or spending the rest of their lives wondering if they’re doing this whole “healthy” thing right.

Because you shouldn’t have to work this hard and still feel awful in your own body.

You’ve spent years taking care of everyone else.

You’ve managed the appointments, the meals, the careers, the kids, the aging parents, the endless mental load.

And just when you finally thought you might have a little more time and energy for yourself…

Your body changed the rules.

Suddenly you’re gaining weight even though you haven’t changed what you’re doing.

You’re exhausted after a full night in bed.

You walk into a room and forget why you’re there.

Your moods feel unpredictable. Your sleep is a mess. Your clothes don’t fit the way they used to.

And maybe the hardest part is that you don’t know what’s causing what anymore.

Is it stress? Hormones? Aging? Something you’re eating? Something you’re not doing?

You just want someone to tell you what is happening and what to do about it.

I get it.

I thought I knew how to take care of myself, too.

I’ve spent more than 30 years as a registered nurse. Raised 3 kids and am happily married

I understood health. I exercised. I tried to eat well. I knew how to navigate the healthcare system.

And then shit hit the fan and perimenopause hit me like a truck.

The weight gain. Exhaustion. Brain fog. Mood swings. Sleep problems. Feeling like I was living in somebody else’s body.

And what made me angry was realizing how little women are prepared for any of it.

Nobody warned us.

We’re expected to keep working, caring for our families, managing everyone’s lives and generally holding shit together while quietly wondering:

What the hell is happening to me?

And when we finally ask for help, too many women are told their labs are normal, they’re just stressed, they should eat less and exercise more, or this is simply what happens when you get older.

I don’t think that’s good enough.

You don’t need another diet. You need a roadmap.

For decades, women have been handed the same advice when their weight starts creeping up:

Eat less. Exercise more.

So that’s what we do.

We cut calories. Skip the carbs. Add another workout. Try to be “good” all week. And when the scale still doesn’t move — or the weight comes right back — we assume we need more discipline.

So we eat even less. Exercise even more.

That’s the cycle I want to help you break.

Because your midlife body doesn’t need more punishment. And you don’t need another plan built around restriction, willpower, and trying harder.

You need to understand what your body needs now.

Most women I work with aren’t failing at taking care of themselves. They’ve simply never been given all the pieces.

They’re piecing together advice from doctors, Instagram, podcasts, diets, fitness programs, supplements, friends, and whatever Google serves up at 2 a.m.

No wonder it feels confusing.

My job is to help you cut through all that noise and figure out what your body actually needs now.

We look at the four areas that have the biggest impact on your health in midlife:

Nutrition. Movement. Sleep. Stress.

Then we turn that information into a realistic plan that fits your body, your goals, and your actual life.

Not your imaginary life where you meal prep for three hours every Sunday and happily wake up at 5 a.m. to work out.

Your real one.

Because the goal isn’t to become perfect at being healthy.

The goal is to know how to take care of yourself consistently — even when life gets messy.

This is about more than losing the menopause belly.

Yes, my clients want to lose weight.

They want their clothes to fit again. They want to sleep through the night. They want enough energy to make it through the afternoon without feeling completely wiped out.

Those things matter.

But underneath all of that, they want something bigger.

They want to feel in control of their bodies again.

They want to travel, keep up with their grandkids, excel at work, enjoy their relationships, stay strong as they age, and have energy for the life they finally have time to live.

They want to look in the mirror and recognize themselves.

Not the 25-year-old version.

Themselves now. Just wiser, stronger, and a hell of a lot more informed.

That’s the work we do together.

I teach you how to nourish your body instead of depriving it. How to move in ways that make you stronger instead of leaving you injured. How to protect your sleep, manage stress, create boundaries, and advocate for yourself when you need medical care.

And little by little, taking care of yourself stops feeling like another impossible job on your to-do list.

It becomes something you know how to do.

You are allowed to take up space in your own life.

I believe women have been underserved, under-researched, and dismissed in healthcare for far too long.

I also believe midlife isn’t the beginning of becoming less relevant.

Quite the opposite.

We have wisdom. Experience. Things we still want to do. People we love. Places we want to go. Work that matters to us.

And I’d like us to be healthy enough to enjoy all of it.

You don’t need a magic pill.

You don’t need another quick fix.

And you definitely don’t need someone telling you to try harder.

You need clear information, a plan that makes sense for your life, and support while you put it into practice.

You are worth the time it takes to take care of yourself.

And if you’re ready to stop guessing and finally figure out what works for you, that’s exactly what I’m here to help you do.
